Charms

Charms are specialized power-ups that are only effective within Gog City; they have no utility outside of this area.

Each charm provides a global stat bonus to your Damage, Gold, and Health in the Gates of Gog mode, even when you're not actively using them. In addition to these stat bonuses, each charm possesses a unique ability and an associated activation condition.

When you enter a Gate, the game will randomly select three* charms from your collection and prompt you to choose one. The selected charm is then summoned into the battle. Whenever the activation condition for the summoned charm is met, its unique ability is automatically triggered.

*Note: With merchant items, four charms will be presented for selection instead of three.

Levelling

Charms can be upgraded to a maximum level of 25 to enhance their benefits. Leveling up a charm will increase the global stat bonuses it provides, reduce its activation requirements, or improve its special ability.

The leveling-up process requires both aeon and scrap as resources.

Collection

As you progress in the Gates of Gog mode, new charms will be added to your collection. You can only summon charms that are part of your existing collection.
