The Lightning Ring is the first ring unlocked in the game and is unlocked at the start of the game. The ring is charged by every tap to release a Thunderbolt, which deals extra damage and resets the charge.
Lightning Ring has 13 available runes; 4 of them are rewards for progressing in Adventure mode.
Runes

How to obtain runes
Runes can be obtained opening Rune Chest, occasional Flash Offers, or via the Rune Special Offers all found in the shop.
Only runes for already unlocked rings can be obtained from Flash Offers, but you can obtain runes early from the Rune Chest.
Note: Rune Chests contain duplicates and give a very small amount of spirits in return. They are not recommended to use outside of the very beginning of the game for this purpose.
