Gates of Gog

Gates of GoG is unlocked upon a Prestige after stage 500 in Adventure. Gates of Gog is a place you must clear Gates within a time limit. Each Gate has unique effects and a first clear reward, but can be repeatedly completed to farm Aeon. There is no ring to use in this mode.

Charms

Charms are unique powerups usable only within the Gates of Gog. You begin with 9 charms with 39 total. Charms are unlocked by progressing further into Gates of Gog.

Aeon Charges

Completions of Gates beyond the first completion result in farming Aeon. Aeon Charges multiply this reward by x6 if one is availabe. They are used up after each reward obtained and cannot be saved for future clears. Aeon Charges spawn every 8h, for a max of 3 total. Players can refresh 3 Aeon Charges for 100 gems after all are depleted.

Cursed Gates

Cursed Gates are unlocked after beating Gate 20 in Gates of Gog. These Cursed Gates reward Scrap instead of Aeon when completed. Cursed Gates hold an important role in the game as a main income source of Scrap. A new Cursed Gate spawns every 4 hours, but no more can spawn once all slots are filled until a Cursed Gate is completed. The stats of the enemies within Gates of Gog also increase as you complete Gates for the first time known as Gate Tiers.

Cursed Gates have a ‘default’ mode and a ‘hard’ mode, with increased difficulty and higher rewards. General difficulty (and reward) of cursed gates is based on the player’s highest cursed gate at the moment the new cursed gate spawns.

Curses

Curses are exclusive to Cursed Gates. A Curse is an extra negative Gate Effect that is added to the Gate on top of the normal effects. As you kill enemies, curses grow stronger by leveling up. Curses also level up slowly over time. Curses can be dispelled to lower their level by 1 each time. Dispelling each curse requires a unique feat, such as "Kill 6 enemies" or "Dodge 5 attacks", or by using Hex Breaker. It is recommended to reroll if needed for bad curse combinations.

Amount of Cursed Gates available also increases with more normal Gates cleared.
